World Wide Group — Five Fun Facts

You’re probably already aware that World Wide Group (or WWG™) is a pretty great company that spends all of its waking hours working for you! You probably already know that there’s a super cool website explaining what WWG does, and everything involved with the company itself.

Here are five things you might not know about World Wide Group!

WWG™ Headquarters.

World Wide Group headquarters is located in lovely Spokane Valley, Washington. Our building is filled with 48 employees (give or take a few), eight departments, a recording studio, and this location is our one and only brick and mortar building (it’s literally a brick building!). Everything that comes from World Wide Group, comes out of this building at some point

Tours.

If you’re in the area, make sure you stop by World Wide Group headquarters! We offer tours of the building so you can see exactly where the magic happens! If you know you’re going to be in town (by yourself or with your group!), give us a call and set up a time to come in. Our favorite days are the days we get to see all of you!

Museum.

We’re a company with a ton of history (40 years!). So, when it was decided to remodel the building with a few upgrades, a museum was put in as part of the plan. Soon you’ll be able to take a walk down WWG memory lane.

Thai Tuesdays.

Lunchtime is always a highlight of the day, but when you work in a building that celebrates “Thai Tuesdays” with the most amazing Thai restaurant EVER, it’s hard to not want every day to be Tuesday.  A family-owned business within walking distance? We’re IN for Thai Kitchen … any time.

Daily Walks.

Speaking of walking, at World Wide Group we know just how important it is to stay active. That’s why, every day (around 2 p.m.), we gather a group of employees and go for a short 20-minute walk. Taking a few minutes every day to get moving helps build our team, keep our minds fresh for the afternoon, and helps us get through that late afternoon slump. Plus, there’s usually a dog or two along the way to say “hello.”

Huddles.

Even through Covid and quarantine, communication among the team at WWG is one of the most important things we do! We gather as a crew via Zoom™, in person, or whatever means possible for our huddles.

What’s a huddle, you may ask? During a huddle, we stand in a circle (or the gallery view on screen) and go around the room to talk about daily wins and challenges. It’s a great way to connect, stay focused, and keep the positive thinking at an all-time high! Need a few ideas on how to boost your own communication skills? Check out our blog post on improving your active listening skills!

Well, there you have it! Now you know just a little more about World Wide Group, our daily life here in Spokane Valley, Washington, and some of the ways we stay connected as a team! Want to learn more about us? Check out our video about who we are and what we do!
